Carolina Pad has participated in a number of charitable organizations that promote kids or family.
![]() Carolina Pad provides financial, product,
and volunteer support to Classroom Central, a free store for teachers who work in low-income schools in the In 2009's Surprise Supplies event, Carolina Pad and Classroom Central partnered to give nearly $50,000 in school supplies to Thomasboro and Druid Hills elementary schools. Dreamsicle is a stylish new collection of school and office supplies inspired by the Girls on the Run mission and its founder, Molly Barker. The GOTR program educates and prepares girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. GOTR Charlotte provides programming to about 1,700 girls in Mecklenburg County each year. ![]() Below: Last December, Carolina Pad employees helped build a Habitat for Humanity home in Charlotte. The five-bedroom, two-and-half bathroom home, which was completed in January 2009, is now home to a couple and their five kids. New homeowners often work onsite as well, since they are required to invest 250 hours of their own sweat equity into the project. Learn more about
