April B. Whitlock Selected to Lead Brand Strategy at Carolina Pad
CHARLOTTE, NC – November 18, 2008 – Carolina Pad, a leading supplier of fashion school and office products, appointed April B. Whitlock as Director of Brand Management, a newly created position at the company. Whitlock, a marketing veteran with more than 17 years experience, will work directly with Carolina Pad’s Marketing, Sales and Creative teams to shape the brand identities for all products.
Most recently, Whitlock was responsible for developing the national brand and marketing strategy for start-up Mom Corps after launching its Charlotte office in 2006. Whitlock’s accomplishments also include a seven-and-a-half-year stint at LendingTree, where she led the business-to-business marketing efforts for the Lender Exchange.

A graduate of Duke University, Whitlock resides in Charlotte with her husband and two children.
