Commerce with a Conscience

Commerce with a Conscience allows Carolina Pad to partner with nonprofit organizations to build awareness and raise funds for worthy causes. The Carolina Pad approach to corporate responsibility works from the inside out. Our values not only include the company’s commitment to giving back to the community, but also encourage and recognize employee participation in community and environmental programs.
In the Charlotte-Mecklenburg region, Carolina Pad strongly supports Classroom Central (www.classroomcentral.org), a free store for teachers who work in low-income schools.
Commerce with a Conscience Collections
CP also devotes a collection of school and office products to the Commerce with a Conscience cause:
Dreamsicle Collection
For 2010, Carolina Pad partnered with Jackie McFee and Girls on the Run International to create the Dreamsicle Collection, stylish school and office products for women and girls. The GOTR after-school curriculum-based program inspires more than 50,000 girls a year to celebrate their bodies, honor their voices, and embrace their gifts in more than 150 cities across North America. Kendall Kollection
Carolina Pad partnered with Jacqueline Savage McFee (www.jackiemcfee.com) and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org) in this very important collection. Carolina Pad made a donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of Kendall Sierens. Read more about the Kendall Kollection here.
Sustainability
Carolina Pad recognizes the importance of maintaining our environment for future generations. In 2009, Carolina Pad introduce a line of products made from paper sources that don't rely on virgin forestry. The Sasquatch Brand uses mostly recycled content. A new line of earth-friendly art pads will also be available this year. Carolina Pad implemented an environmental policy that will help guide workplace practices and product development efforts that focus on helping the environment.
